手順
1. 現在の設定を確認する
端末を開いて、下記を実行。xset q
以下のような出力結果が表示されたら、チェックするポイントは下線の2ヶ所。

チェックポイント1： スクリーンセーバーの設定
Screen Saver: prefer blanking: yes allow exposures: yes timeout: 600 cycle: 600 timeout の 600 （10分）を 0 にする必要がある。チェックポイント2： DPMSの設定
DPMS (Energy Star): Standby: 600 Suspend: 600 Off: 600 DPMS is Enabled Monitor is On Enabled を Disabled にする必要がある。2. 設定を追加する
上記のチェックポイントを変更するには、起動プロセスに新たな項目を追加する必要があるので、メニューから「自動起動するアプリ」を起動する。 「自動起動するアプリの設定」ウィンドウで を押す。 「自動起動するプログラムの編集」ウィンドウに以下のように入力して保存。| 名前(N)： | xsetの非省エネ設定（←適当） |

| 説明(E)： | 10分後に画面が暗くならないようにする |
3. 確認
再起動したら、端末を開いて再度以下を入力し、修正できているか確認する。xset q
